3012 Block Type 12 - Medium Thin Square Slat

Introducing the 3012 Block Type 12 – Medium Thin Square Slat from Impeckable Bird Toys. This 4-pack of natural, square wooden slats is ideal for building custom bird toys that satisfy both chewing and enrichment needs.

Each slat is handcrafted from kiln-dried, heat-treated, unfinished Softwood for maximum safety and beak satisfaction. Measuring 3.37 inches wide and under an inch thick, each block includes a centered drilled hole, allowing it to be strung, stacked, or mounted in various toy builds. These versatile blocks are perfect for DIY foraging trays, foot toys, or hanging enrichment.

The smooth surface and lightly sanded edges are gentle on feet and beaks, while the natural wood color brings an earthy, neutral tone to your cage setup. Whether you’re building a standalone chewing station or enhancing a multilevel toy, these slats support natural behaviors like gnawing, tugging, and manipulating textures. They promote mental engagement and physical activity.

These blocks are specifically recommended for medium to large size birds such as African Greys, Amazons, Conures, Cockatoos, and Macaws. Their lightweight yet sturdy design offers enough resistance for strong chewers while staying manageable in toy-building projects. Each set is individually packed in our Florida shop with quality and consistency.
