Toy Details
The Cactus Pinata Shredder brings a little desert fun to your bird's cage. Shaped like a cheerful green and yellow cactus and finished top and bottom with bursts of colorful shred paper, it gives curious beaks plenty to pull, rip and forage through. It's a great foraging experience for birds that spend much of their day in the cage.
Underneath the fringed paper layers is a cardboard cactus body that's satisfying to chew open, while wood beads give beaks something firmer to work on. An aluminum rod runs through the center to hold the toy's shape as your bird takes it apart, and a plastic tube at the top keeps everything neat. It hangs from a nickel-plated quick link, so it attaches to any cage in seconds.
Shredding and foraging are natural behaviors for parrots, and toys like this help keep medium birds such as conures, quakers, caiques and senegals busy, active and mentally engaged.
Every Cactus Pinata Shredder is handcrafted in our Plantation, Florida workshop by the same team that builds every Impeckable toy.
